Tofino looks beautiful, but to be honest we live on the coast so we wanted to go inland a bit. We would love to find a lake with cabins and some great hiking. We kind of want to get away in to nature for a while. Would rather not deal with resorts, hotels, shopping, Starbucks and all that if you know what I mean.
Whistler sounds very expensive and we are not going for the skiing or boarding.
We are thinking March.
