    I don't get the big deal. This general tech has existed for a long time... I am sure a lot of people could have done this before but they realized that it's utterly useless and is tech for tech's sake until it doesn't require an iron surface... so something other than magnetism.

    It provides zero advantage over wheels at this point and the kid using it looks like he can barely even get any momentum from it. ...you gotta have POWA!!!
