    I'm consistently surprised by the number of threads like this that get posted. Along with the "Client didn't pay me" or general client payment questions.

    Design education is really failing–so many of us do not understand these fundamental issues that are so important to earning a living doing what we do. Good thing there's QBN. Hopefully you can tell the difference between the good advice and bad.

    Also, I don't want this to be taken as a judgement against the OP. It sucks to be in that position and on top of it be unsure how to handle it. I recommend finding an attorney of you think this threatens your livelihood even a little. Good luck, let us know how it turns out.
