    The process and all that is all correct, simplicity, common sense design... problem is so few people/companies actually appreciate good design these days.

    You have sites out there where someone posts a logo project they want to get done, people bid on it, and the project goes to the clown in india willing to do it for $25. That's what you're really up against. The challenge is to get an in with some clients that actually are concerned with quality and willing to pay a little bit to get it. It's very hard to find these days, so good designers just say fuck it and go work for a corporation.
