Just two things...
1. I've know Aaron personally for over 2 years. He is the most down to earth, cool, and extremely humble guy you'll ever meet. His love, passion and honesty is contagious and truly inspiring. During his visit to Miami this year, I was able to spend 2 days with him and even do a little interview for a side project I've been working on. I've met many big names, but nobody is as humble and cool as this guy. Don't understand some of the hate he gets, WHY? he speaks the truth and makes design look fun. You rather have a pompous asshole talking about how difficult this fiel is and list his awards and experience?
2. As dumb or basic as this might seem to some, this process is sort of like a lost art nowadays. Believe me, I teach college courses and 95% of students simply don't have any process or method like this. They simply go straight to Illustrator, see what happens and if not, they search the web for templates or pre-made stuff. I always make a point to show these videos in class so that I can bring back the basics and make the re-think their entire process. (I make them sketch every single porject - and type - weekly).
