I gave these things a shot a couple of years back, but whenever a heavy night of drinking was involved, I and a friend who was also trying to quit always ended up back on cigarettes (Peter Stuvesant blue).
I recharged my vapes on Monday, and have only had 3 cigarettes since then, each one less enjoyable than the one before it. I have also that noticed when walking through crowds, the first time I quit using vapes I would try to passively inhale the smoke of others as I walked past, but this time I'm doing the opposite, breathing through the mouth to avoid the smell of it altogether.
I've flicked through scarabin's reddit links for juices, and some look really good. I'm interested to know, are other users keen to replicate the taste and sensation of cigarettes using tobacco flavours, or are you trying out other flavours to move away from cigarettes faster?
I have a whole bunch of juices purchased through VapeKing, most of them as doublers, and have the following reviews:
Cola - tastes remarkably similar to cola flavoured candy (which I like), but not much like the drink - 8/10
Cookies & Cream - way too sweet for my tastes, and something about a dairy flavour in something that you 'smoke' seems kinda wrong to me - 3/10
Lime - Tastes like dishwashing detergent, avoid at all costs - 0/10
Lemon Meringue Pie - strikingly similar to its edible counterpart - 7/10
Blackcurrant - pretty weak for a doubler, but an enjoyable flavour, reminds me of the drink Ribena - 6/10
Light's Lemonade - a tad sweeter than the Lemon Meringue Pie, but the same number of drops makes a stronger mix - 7/10
Bull Rush - Red Bull in a vape, tastes almost exactly the same as the drink, good for a pick-me-up (even if it's psychosomatic) - 8/10
Peter Stuvesant - Nothing like the real thing, but has a faintly tobacco-ish flavour - 2/10
Cafe Arabica - Nice strong coffee flavour, not a very nice aftertaste (just like a strong coffee, I guess) - 4/10
Passionfruit - no idea what they had in mind here, it's fucking awful - 0/10
Pineapple - some things shouldn't be turned into a vape flavour, and this is one of them - 0/10
Royal Blend - I think this is VapeKing's own version of a tobacco flavour, and it's the only flavour that I have had to re-order twice. It's got the tobacco flavour in spades, with a hint of maple syrup as well, it was definitely my favourite before I ran out - 9/10.
