Any Shopify experts here that can help me understand how the fuck to stop Shopify compressing uploaded jpg assets so much?
There's no visible settings, I can't see anything within the the themes construction to tweak (though I didn't build the theme so could be missing some obvious flag somewhere).
I tried following guidelines here, but it's making sod-all difference...

you're fucked, upload clean images with bellow the line compression levels.sted - u can play with img_url asset_img_url, or asset_[whatever]. heres the proper link:

- I'm at home now, so will check sted's links tomorrow but it's the jpg compression that's causing me problems, not the actual filesizesdetritus
