Which questions would you ask a client who's interested in your services as graphic designer to design their book cover?

I came up with these so far:

    Concept
    1) Short text about the topic of your book or What is your book about? 2) Target audience(s)3) Gender specific or neutral4) Are there any (e.g. cultural) concerns with your audience?

    Design
    5) What style are you looking for or do you have a particular style in mind?
    6) What elements are essential to your design?7) Do you have a colour palette in mind? A colour palette that, for you, reflects what you want to convey?

    Client-contractor relationship
    8) How do you want to communicate?
    9) What file format do you want to receive the files in?

    • Hahahaha! I wrote the questions in English, translated them with DeepL to German and then translated them back with DeepL...fuck! You get the idea.oey_oey
