Spent a few hours on Monday evening creating a song for my Dad's birthday this week. My parents are big Northern Soul fans and go dancing a LOT!
Asked ChatGPT to write a song based on my dad, his interests and told it what structure to have and the vocal hook I wanted in the Chorus.
Then added these Verse, Chorus etc in order to build a song structure in Udio.com. Using some tips from a vid Id watched on youtube about how to get same chorus repeating and not regenerating, and tips on emphasis/hooks etc.
The output is absolutely mind blowing. The production sounds exactly like a Northern Soul production. The drums are magnificent and creatively used - as drums should in NS!
If this was decent song lyrics, rather than about my dad, golf and graphic design and cats then this would sound like a legit Northern 7".
