Today, Microsoft released two security bulletins describing critical vulnerabilities; one in Microsoft Word and Works Suite, and one in PowerPoint for Windows and Mac. By enticing one of your users into downloading and opening a malicious Office document, a remote attacker could exploit either flaw to execute code, potentially gaining complete control of that user's PC. If you use Word, PowerPoint (for either Windows or Mac), or the full Office package, download, test and apply the appropriate patches as soon as possible.
