yeah, but the clothing business here is doing pretty good. and ikea, especially the wardrobe department.
my car's been standing for three days now, I'm afraid next time I'll try to start it it's gonna say *thump* and explode into a little iceberg.
that's how cold it is here right now.

And dark, huh?

pretty much still. since dec 21 the days have become lighter, but for example today the sun went down at about 16.00... the summers make up for it though, warm and bright.. that's when finns live at 110 %.
I gotta go outside and insert the car heater thingy, wish me luck, I might come back as a polar bear.

actually it's not that bad, just noticed it's only -23C... hell, I might even throw a garden barbeque party later today.

speaking of snow and stuff, I noticed during the holidays how I estimate how cold it is. wanna hear?
above -10C it's just cool
at -15C the snot in the nose starts to freeze and form uncomfortable lumps
at -25C it hurts to breathe deep
at -33C you wanna drink your beer warm

*warm beer*
oh man, I don't ever want to experience -33°C....
They predict -7 to -10°C here....cold enough...exceptionally even for this region....
I once suffered -25°C in Germany a long time ago....

weird....
Only -1°C in Helsinki now....it was like -29°C a couple of days ago..
That's 28° change in 2 days or what?
guess it is coming our way.

hey 3cy... yeah, it's been pretty "warm" lately... lemme check.. yup, -1 C outside my window, and it's in the middle of the night.
and I'm liking it. still waiting for summer, but this is okay for now.
of course, this is just temporary. the weather geniuses predict that -30 C period is coming back, starting tomorrow.
gah, I don't wanna drink warm beer again. :)
- finnpimp0
anyways, I think the temperature variation depends on cloud overcast. a couple of days ago we had a clear sky, now it's completely clouded.
