i've been trying to figure this out for the past week.
i can't seem to make an html e-mail from Outlook.
i can do it in Yahoo.when i send an html email from outlook, it's about 230 k.
from yahoo, it's about 30 k.can anyone tell me what i'm doing wrong, or what i can do?
thank you!

because Outlook will copy your server images and embed them within the email...
you can use a php script to send your html email, with your email as the sender mail header.

thanks unfittoprint!
there's a problem though, the programmer here doesn't know anything about php.
are there any other options you'd suggest doing?

listen, there's a shitload of free scripts available in the net. They're of easy implementation [mainly copy paste into you're server]. google it.
good luck.

you can always write it in ms word. ms has a small piece of software to clean up word html. get that too, and then copy and paste the html. that should work.

Althought the php way is very easy to figure out (wit ha bit of searching and time), your programmers could probably do the same with whatever language they use.

I just started using netscape (yeah I know) composer and netscape mail to send out the html newsletter. It actually works pretty good. Might want to give that a shot if you have time.
