can someone help me use the text tool on a circular path? basically, i'm trying to write on the inside of the circle, not on the outside. i'm using illustrator 10 on a mac (os X) system.
thanks!

i am not sure if this is how you do it but you can cut to point within the circle and type freely on the inside of the path, and when you are done, re-connect the points.

type what you need to, then while still in the text tool, hold command (or apple, whatev) down and click on the guide line at the start of the text. you can drag that line to the inside of the circle and the text will come with it.

double click the type on path tool and then choose flip in the options.

step 1: draw circle
step 2: type words in circle using the type on path tool
step 3: now double click the type on path tool in menu, while text still selected, now you get the properties - flip
