i had an older "titanium" g4 that has gone caput. i'm looking at ordering a new aluminum one and was wondering if the ram has changed at all between the models. i figure why order upgrades of ram if i have a bunch already in my older powerbook. anyone know if that would work? i have a feeling they changed it up a bit to make it more difficult for me, but you never know.
thanks

TiBook use PC133 SO-DIMM
AluBook use PC2700 DDR
so you can't use it.

all the new models use DDR 333... I dont think that the older books use that.

put the two books in a dimmly lit room together with some soft barry white music and a bottle of wine.
give em a few hours and in 9 months you'll have a super laptop to download all your pron with.

I would buy the cheapest powerbook available and then trade in when the Intel powerbooks come out. They'll be a million times faster.
Well not a million but a lot. Less cigarette breaks =)
