in the past few weeks we've been doing these type connect excersizes. so i have 26 jpgs.

each letter builds on the next.
im trying to figure out a way to fade each jpg into the next. but alls i know is to fuck with is the alpha and tints.
my problem is that the jpgs have white backgrounds and it looks like this
http://www.shilohous.com/nt/tc1/…is there a way to get the jpegs to stack on top of each other fading in and the white background doesnt cancel out the previous image?
like a transparency setting tween or something like that?i hope my question makes sense..
thanks

you may be able to do a blending mode thing in the latest flash version.

knock out all the white and save as .png.
otherwise you need the blending modes from 8.

they're all black and white, right?
open each image in photoshop. convert to grayscale. copy the image, goto to your channels palette, create a new channel, paste, go back to layers, load a selection using the channel you created, be sure to select invert, create a new layer, fill the selection with black, turn off your background layer, save for web as a pn-24 with transparency, import into flash.
should work...
