yea totally nice... smooth.... but This reminds me of something I wanted to ask about to all you designers... Music on a website.. personally I immediately go for the off button. Now I understand for a music site, but for a design site, is it totally necessary?
( I actually like the music for the EGG site) I guess is it an extension of the egotistical promotion thing?

I always cringe and seek that off button, too.
And I really hate ANY sound on DVD menus. You know inevitably that thing is going to end and you're sitting there listening to some 2 minute loop, trying to fall asleep for the next 5 hours.
or maybe that's just me.

HAHA exactly... because the loops always suck (as in they dont sync up on DVD's)
But as on DVD's it can be a signifier for hey the menu's working.

What kind of software do you need to design websites that look this fluent and smooth?
Any tips?

Not to be picky, but shouldn't, "mean time," be, "meantime?"
The answer is yes.

it's flash 8 hence the smoothness. runs crazy smooth on the mac which is amazing considering all the anima on it.

set your frame rate at 31 fps and use easing equations for the motion.

Only startin out in Flash, would I need to know alot of coding to pull a site like this off?
Im more into designing than learning all that geeky code stuff yah see, to much goin on in me head as it is!! FS
