DPI Photo printing issue

    So I have this pic that i need to put on a folder thats being printed. Its half the rez needed to fit at 300 DPI.
    So, is it better to enlarge the photo in photoshop to fit the folder. Or, to lower the rez of the folder down to 200 DPI?

    if you want to keep quality = redo the lay out so you use the pic at 300dpi

    even opting for 200 would still not warrant a nice quality if the image is lower rez.

    I think you need to explain this to your client, and have them make the call (though chances are they don't have a clue what you are saying). Bottom line is = what do you prefer? Lousy print result that is your responsibility (printer will not take any heat over this). Or counter propose a design solution that fits the quality of the provided picture....
