You Are a "Don't Tread On Me" Libertarian
You distrust the government, are fiercely independent, and don't belong in either party.
Religion and politics should never mix, in your opinion... and you feel opressed by both.
You don't want the government to cramp your self made style. Or anyone else's for that matter.
You're proud to say that you're pro-choice on absolutely everything!pretty spot on if you ask me

The whole conservative/liberal, left/right is a bunch of cribnoted, antiquated crap based on what french dude sat where after that French Revolution that's trotted out by the media to make pablum of complicated issues...meanwhile the guys who really run the show could give a shit as long as the bucks role in and the serfs don't get uppity..
Limbaugh, Michael Moore...whatever..all assclowns who distract the populi from the real shit that's going down...

"The terms Left and Right have been used to refer to political affiliation since the early part of the French Revolutionary era. They originally referred to the seating arrangements in the various legislative bodies of France, specifically in the French Legislative Assembly of 1791, when the moderate royalist Feuillants sat on the right side of the chamber, while the radical Montagnards sat on the left."
Might as well have a watery tart distributing scepters as a viable basis for discourse on 21st century politics..probably have as much relevance as who sat where in some musty french meeting house in the fucking 18th century...but go ahead, let the real powers that be blind you into using those terms and tearing each other apart as you consume yourself into oblivion and serfdom...

And the funny thing, is that's how I really feel, and when I talk to "leftists" they call me a cold and heartless and for some reason the neocons on this board think I'm some liberal heart bleeding leftist and seem to get their wank off by calling me an unamerican commie...whatever..

(Feb 13 07, 06:12)True, but the true battle isn't "left" and "right" - which is essentially "Politics for Dummies", but who has the money, who has the benefits and who is assuming the risk.
Look at society with those things in mind and a whole different picture emerges as opposed to "gay marriage" and "taxing the little guy"...
for the fuck sakes wake up..

although i have been partially won over by neo-liberalism and the values of a free flowing open bordered global economy, which i reconcile with my anarchist sentiments of the past, i still maintain that laissez-faire capitalism is an exploitative destructive force that leads to vast inequalities of wealth, exploitation, and the inevitable creation of a class based society. I think it is in all our interests to safeguard the rights of the least fortunate, to raise the standards of living for everyone, and to try and strive for some form of social cohesion and welfare which is a good thing cos its not bad.

why would people need an on-line quiz to determine their political leanings and principles? I've been fully aware of mine since I was about 8 years old, surely this is (nearly) normal?

(Feb 13 07, 06:42)The "Justice League of America" is not a real political principle started by Superman, Wonder Woman and Batman.
