Herbalife?...
... so we import Beckhole and some how the jersey's all go corpo logo like everything about the game in Europe?...
... this is the first sport in 'America' to have corporate logos point-blank on the jersey (other than the team logo... which is corpo I guess)...
... LAME!! He's OLD too... 100 mill. + for a one year contract?
WHAT A WASTE!!!
Reminds me of that time the St. Louis Blues bought Gretzky for like... 18 games... for buckets of millions... STUUUPID.
Sports are so 'greedy' now.

It's funny...earlier in the year when the Galaxy management let fans know the logo was going to change tons of people on the message boards said"
Please don't let it be a shield.
Well, sheild it is. I do like the colors though.

I don't mind the sponsor logos too much, but I thought it was weird when they created the New York Red Bulls after the product. Talk about a marketing machine.. your product is the damn mascot. wtf

can't wait to hear him say "soccer" instead of "football."
whatever respect he might still have from his mates back in the UK will be gone forever

the women is usually the driving force behind the man... so give her a little credit...

the only balls she's kickin around are probably in the bedroom, so I'm not sure what kind of credit I need to give her... you may be right, she may be the driving force behind him, but as far as the pro athletes I've known in my lifetime, this has not been the case.

---$32.5 million over five years...
man... I was WAY off.. haha... the article I read mentioned that... I only paid attention to the estimated $150 mill. in endorsements (expected)...
... I take back my stupid 100 mill comment... :)
... I suppose he is worth it... I'll watch the first few games, I'm sure...
... I love football (soccer)... only because my old high school won 7 years straight of State Championships... never losing a game in those 7 years... (and 'soccer' was one of those sports that even your 'loner skater' didn't mind nor talk shit about... that and golf)...
... then again... that was New Hampshire... so what the hell do I know? :)

no problem holmes, though you might be talking about the endorsements.
