QBN Sessions Presents: Shepard Fairey

hmm, ' I had changed his memory of what Ché looked like'?! A little modest perhaps?
- growbran0

At least he admits it was a inside joke as to how the Andre campaign started. He didn't make up a bullshit reason for it after the fact.
You can say what you want about him, he does produce a consistent amount of work with quality. Nothing ever look half ass.

this got me thinking...why did they use that lame music in the intro?

(Sep 24 07, 08:49)I think we all know about being an inside joke, because thats how he explained how it happens some years ago, why would he change the story now, after telling it is so many books, magazines, interviews, etc..?

(Sep 24 07, 08:58)the music was not the best choice indeed, the motion is great though..

i still have the piece of paper he gave me in 1995 that explains it as an experiment in phenomonology
- Ampersanderson0
it's good to hear him talk about it as originally an accident. anything can seem deep and inspired after attributing to it words like "phenomonology"
- Ampersanderson0
is there a YouTube presentation of QBN.com?
- _salisae_0
phenomonology .. really?
thought it was phrenology. are they associated?
- acescence0
well it's interesting that he now explains it as an accident, but when he was really pushing it while at risd he would hand out a piece of paper that would explain it as an experiment in phenomenology. his aim was to make it a ubiquitous symbol that had no meaning, so people would assign their own meaning to it.

(Sep 24 07, 09:29)I have never heard that version.
But I can see that as a result of the accident..did he denied it was an accident then?
