You're name was mentioned in a book I'm reading. I never realized your name was an actual word. But I'm not known for my vocabulary. haha
DETRITUS - waste or debris of any kind : streets filled with rubble and detritus.

You don't live with me, you live among the remains of dead people. You sift through the detritus for the signs of passing, for the scent of your prey, and you hunt them down. That's the only thing you're fucking committed to. The rest is the mess you leave on your way through...
- he doesn't know how to do anything else.

I've had a playlist in my iTunes titled 'detritus' for as long as I can remember... nothing to do with our fair nairnia though..

I like this community, I am glad to be part of it, part of you, inside you, I want to be in you, I am in your mouth and have been on your hair, round your belly and dangled loosely at your feet.

it's just that you notice it now... it happens anytime you learn a new word.
you probably saw it before and ignored it or didn't remember it
kind of like how teh ladies treat nairn in real life

I was going to ask this last week - there's a term for this, that I can't for the life of me remember - does anyone here? It's for the spike in encounters with a new concept, just after you've learned it.
I had it years ago with, bizarrely, the concrete weights you get in some tumble dryer machines. I read about it somewhere, then over the course of a few days thereafter encountered 3 opened up dryers on the street, then had our one taken apart so I could see inside. Utterly banal, I know - but it freaked me out a little nonetheless.
- yeah it alwasy happens... its uncanny... is there a term? i would love to know it too7point34
