I've just landed a months freelance out there for some lovely tax free money. mmm nom nom.
Does anyone else work there or have experience of working there? What's a boy to do to while away his free hours in the sun?

Lots of human trafficking go on so if you're into sex slaves Dubai is the place to be.
nah, but, I had a friend go there for work and he talked about some massive, secret underground night club in the desert. And by underground I mean a hatch covered with sand.

you could always work on your tan. I heard the cost of living shot up considerable after the influx of foreign workers.

i would look into a couple things if i were you to have reserved before you arrive:
- personal concierge/driver
- *specific* contract terms for payment and/or right-of-refusal
- *specific* housing agreements and no-fault deferral of housing upon inspection
- a yacht
