Every single one of you that has one of these cars is a total gayer. I'm joking obviously but I just dinae like them. My car is a vugly rice rocket so who am I to judge. I know the mini would be an absolute hoot to drive but I just couldn't bring myself to drive one ever.

I disagree with that - I dont think the mini's are worth the money brand new or even 1 or 2 years old, the prices are still way over inflated.
And the prices they charge for extra's is silly when buying new. Rather than paying for some pish like different coloured mirrors when you spec one up new, dont bother, save the money and get something a bit more worth the money that will give you some oomph performance wise.

Standard Cooper S = 163/170bhp23kon - ana abarth one is prob the 500 max'd out. whereas a mini can be tweaked up to about 280bhp23kon

- still new + pricey though. wouldnt buy for the same reason i wouldnt buy a new mini23kon
- the abarth n renaultsport twingo would be good fun but both are still "new cars"23kon

Chossy, I used to be of the same opinion as you.
Lookswise I thought the Swift Sport looked a lot meaner and is an improvement on a mini kind of design and id also been looking at the C2 VTS and other wee hot hatches.But really, the Mini wins absolute hands down in terms of build quality (it puts the others to shame) and value for money (if you get yourself a good deal) and the Cooper S's are far faster than all those other hatches.
Some Mini's really do look gay though! i'll agree with you on that.
I'd previously described them as quite feminine - whereas the Swift Sport which is VERY similar shape looks more Masculine.
I think its like the red or the blue ones that do look the gayest of the minis but it really depends on how it's been specc'd up.With mines for adding new grills&alloys, the right thing to do (seeing as my roof n mirrors are white) would be to go for white alloys and grills but i think this'll make it look too cutesy and gay.
So i'll probably be opting for Anthracite alloys with a black grill. Think that should give the car a nice balance of Black through Grey to White and will give a meaner and masculine look.
