under osx within any open/save dialogue below the file name there is a dropdown with the path to the current location. also there always was a list of recently visited folders in this dropdow. this little usefull history disappeard from my contexts and i can but totally not find out how to reactivate it. any ideas?

click on the apple logo > recent items.
- no, there are not the recent locations - just items.invisiblechamber

In the open/save dialogue, click the arrow icon next to the file name.
- no, that would collaps the extended dialogue.invisiblechamber

If you turn on your Mic input you can just shout out "RECENT FOLDERS" and it should work.. Might take a few tries to get your voice/accent recognized... If you add, "...BITCH" to the end of your command, it should tell OSX You mean business, though.
- even "JUST HANDLE STUFF INTELLIGENT LIKE OS 7.6, YOU BUM" didn't help much.invisiblechamber

make sure you're not using a new or someone else's machine. your recent items won't appear on either of those situations.
here to help.

ok, if no solution, can someone at least confirm that it should be there? or has it been universally disestablished?
