afternoon all! - need some help on something that i have not a clue on - i have been asked to design a series of html emailers - and was wondering how do you people in the know price doing this kind of thing - is it per mailer sent basis or do you just give a flat rate regardless of volume?
it is to be sent to subscribed recipients globally - not sure if it is 100's or 1000's we are talking - but not just a 50-60 contact list.
how do you price these things? Sending only, not the creating of the content.
any help - will be a... errr... help!

I would outsource it to a company that does that sort of thing, otherwise you could risk being labeled a spammer or risk the receipients not actually even receiving it.

$5 = $0.01 per recipient is the base price here, then mark that shit up like a mad man.

I'd make damn sure the list they give you is recently compiled, and clean, not full of user@yahooc.om style typos
why? lots of bounces trashes YOUR rep
I'd try to put it in the contract that they owe you lots of extra $$ if more then 30 percent of the list bounces, why? because you can burn out your relationship with 3rd party senders if you send out email lists with high bounce rates more than once or twice.
- true, i have clients call to consult before they send out, i fear the backlash of an overzealous marketerversion3
