Hey there pro QBN crowd, I have a situation:
I have this illustrator file with some text and colors, when I turn it into jpg the text becomes fuzzy on the edges, any tips on how to have my edges crisp as shit? this might be really basic but I'm a tad lost here.
Thanks

take it through photoshop or fireworks first and then export to jpg (web) save as jpg (print email supply).

When converting to jpf from photoshop I use maximum quality, 100

is the file vector ? or is it a jpg in a vector file.
make sure your dpi is set to 72 for screen and 300 for print . ..

There will always be a chance for fuzziness when exporting a bitmap like a jpg from a vector based program like Illustrator. Your best bet would be to do the illustration in Illy and set the text in PS since you'll be able to see the the true edges before you export.

why do you need a jpg? try a different format like png24 maybe?

yeah png and gif are better suited for solid color/text
