Maybe enlarge a touch as some of the smaller details are not going to translate into tattoo very well... like the circles and the tip of the syringe... The negative space between those large bars will blend together over time as well... Talk to your tattoo artist about solutions to that... ; )

20 years from now, nobody'll recognize the cell phone

Ok, maybe i will just go to the tattoo artist and grab one I fancy, like everyone else does..

if you feel like needing opinions about a tattoo I say don't do it.
Tattoos are personal, You're the one who's going to have it for the rest of your life. Do something for you and if you feel confortable with it, just do it. If you're going to ask about a tattoo to others you'll never do one because there will always be someone who doesn't like it. Personally I don't like your illustration too much because I think there's some flaws in it, but it's not me who is tattooing it so I don't give a fuck.
My 2cts- word....and make sure you wont get tired of itEl_Montr0
- what flaws? help me out mate :)fabricio2k
- primarily the spacing between lines, it will turn out a big black stainESKEMA

take an idea to a good tattoo artist and get them to design you one.

don't do it.
you'll look at it in three days, and say
"what is this pile of shite vector wank on my arm,
have i just been stamped by istockphoto"
- Greedo0
if you're asking for opinions here, you're not sure about it.
if you're not sure about it, don't do it.
tattoos last an awful long time.
keep going until you have something you're sure about, where you don't feel the need to ask if this 'looks okay'.

That tattoo will look dated awfully fast. Go with something classic. I went with naked chicks, skeletons, booze and curly banners. Can't go wrong with that :P

like it but u not gona regret that in years to come
know what us designers are like and constantly changing our minds

coming to a tattoist with your illustration exactly the same thing as clients wanting a logo and bringing their poor doodles.
find a tattoist with a styke you like, talk with him about your idea, let him drawing the damn tattoo, and you won't regret it.

And remember that tattoos bleed quite a bit, especially if you're anything like me and like to spend time in the sun. So make sure your details will look good when they're slightly smudged.
Gaussian blur your design a bit and see what it'll look like.

A design like that only looks good when it's sharp and the lines are tight. Over time there is always some loosening of the skin and that design doesn't leave much room for forgiveness.
So it would look good if done by a very talented artist, but in all likelihood would start looking rough in less than 10 years.

Think of it like this:
The tattoo is part of your skin. Your skin moves around, grows, stretches, changes. The tattoo will move around, grow, stretch and change with it. It's a dynamic and highly permanent piece of art. You better be damn sure you know what you're doing before you let anyone put ink under your skin.
