fonts look bad in safari

fonts are looking bolder and crappier in safari than in FF and chrome.
anybody else experiencing this?

go take a look at cnn.com in safari and then in chrome/firefox and you'll see the difference

No obvious difference for me, if anything the small type looks sharper in Safari.

This is happening to me but it occurs randomly, and if you refresh the page fonts look good, it's weird but I haven't thought much about it.
