Android Image Re-sizing?

I'm needing to resize a large number of Android bitmap images from mdpi to ldpi (-75%). When I try and do this however the 9-patches get destroyed and re creating them is a bit of a guessing game which has caused a number of errors.
Does anyone know a way of shrinking bitmap images (especially 9-patch ones) and keeping the quality and preventing them for becoming so rasterised and soft edged?
Help!

That was what I already had it set to however just tried 'Nearest Neighbor' and that does a pretty good job at preserving the 9-patches. Thanks Duck.
Anyone else got any differing suggestions?

I'm half asleep, so I apologise if this is total bunkum - but, aren't you always going to get blurry edges, no matter what, when dividing a multiple of three (9) by an odd number (75%)?
Either shift the pixels so they divide easily, or create a mosaic at end resolution, then scale everything else (icons, whatever), and put that on top of the accurately-pixellated grid.
