£75 per month and a ltd in your name is all sorted. MarchMutual know the London freelance industry well and deal with most of the major recruitment agencies like ecom(avoid), cogs etc...

most folk in London I know who contract just use a 'normal' accountant and that's normally a mate of a mate. I don't think you really need to go down the 'specialist' route as long as they can do your books and save you some cash. But, that's just what I've heard

I'd find a small accounting firm if I were you, big firms = big $$. It's not a big deal dude, just keep you receipts and write off everything you possibly can. Your a small fish in a big pond which means the gov won't likely be watching you too closely.

Where abouts are you? A developer friend of mine recently set up as a ltd company in order to dodge contractor agency fees. I think he went with a freelance accountant, rather than a big firm.
