Hi everyone,
I always been a cat lover and one day i met a homeless cat inside the residence where i live, i started to feed it. I saw that none else is taking care of it. One day i allowed him to get in my apartment and so i decided to keep him, during that time i ve printed brochures and put it everywhere. None called and asked about him.I went to vet with him, and on the chip, doctor said theres an owner in ANOTHER CITY, and the cat is missing for 3 weeks, so i was happy that the owner is found and i gave it back.
It's been a month, i'm coming home and see that this little cat is waiting for me, next to my dor. He went 10 miles and found exact place, exact door.
WTF? what would you do? keep or give back again?

I would call the owner once more and explain the situation...if he/she doesn't give a shit then keep it, I think that's fair...

10 miles... that's awesome.
yeah, i suppose all you can do is let them know and hear what they say...

I love that cat. He/she has found you as her/his destiny. I say get some new cat toys and make a new home for your new friend.

Amazing story! Talk with the owner first, but sounds like the cat is better off with you.
Good luck.

Really is amazing that it went 10 miles and found your door! Keep it!

It clearly preferred the brand of food you gave it.
Don't anthropomorphise the situation —
cats are viciously self-centred little bastards.- anthropomorphise the fuck out of it. The cat doesn't mind, and it makes the experience of owning the cat more satisfying.jtb26
- Of course the cat doesn't mind - it gets fed and loved and stroked, and has to do fuck all in return.detritus
- ..no pity for the previous owner, I take it? What if they weren't the evil child-fucker you evidently think them to be?detritus
- cats are cunts - if you don't recognise that single fact, you're clearly a toxoplasmosis -addled slave.detritus

Yeah I agree, fuck it, the cat is yours now. Time to go shopping.

Just post a picture in the "Show yo cat 2012" thread and be done with it.

Welp, I'm in my room right now, drying my cat off and freaking the fuck out.
Last night I had a really weird dream. I usually get scary dreams, I'm not sure why. Ever since I could remember, I would have incredibly disturbing dreams. Last night's dream, however, still makes me tear up when I think about it.
I was up pretty late last night, browsing reddit, tumblr, and other sites because I couldn't fall asleep. I heard this fumbling downstairs, and, assuming it was my cats, I went down to go cuddle with them, as they are incredibly smushy and warm. As I was going downstairs, I noticed them literally slamming their bodies against my front door and hissing like crazy. I don't know why, but I decided it would be a smart idea to open the door. I check around, and I noticed the light sensors went off (This is usually normal, as we have a lot of both domestic and wild animals in my area). I was about to go back inside, but you know when you don't turn your head, but you glance at the very corner of your eye? I saw the scariest fucking thing. This really, really tall man, wearing this bowler hat was just staring at me. He had no face. I couldn't even scream. He was this tall pale guy with no face and a cane. And like it was nothing, he just stepped inside my house. From his pocket, he pulled out two little bottle of green and purple acrylic paint, and he placed some on his fingers.
I couldn't scream, I wanted to so badly, but I couldn't. There was something about him that scared me so much. He picked up one of my cats with this long, thin hands and streaked the paint across his fur. He placed the cat down gently. He then tilted his faceless head, swung his cane, and walked away.
And then I woke up. I went into the mirror and realized I was incredibly pale and crying, which sometimes happens during my worse nightmares, so I wasn't too phased by that. As I'm going downstairs, I see my cat lying on the couch, purring really loudly as per usual. I feel slightly comforted until I turn him over.
On his fur were streaks of purple and green paint.
I've washed it all off now and my grandma just came to ask me why I left my front door open. I'm bawling like a fucking baby, I have no idea what just happened, whether it was real or not, and what I should do.

Not to freak you out further but, you probably did this. You probably were sleepwalking and opened the door and put the paint on the cat in your sleep.
I have done some crazy things while sleepwalking and this sounds exactly like one of those experiences.
