I would like to post the original act that made Israel a state

The Balfour Declaration (dated 2 November 1917) was a letter from the United Kingdom's Foreign Secretary Arthur James Balfour to Baron Rothschild (Walter Rothschild, 2nd Baron Rothschild), a leader of the British Jewish community, for transmission to the Zionist Federation of Great Britain and Ireland.His Majesty's government view with favour the establishment in Palestine of a national home for the Jewish people, and will use their best endeavours to facilitate the achievement of this object, it being clearly understood that nothing shall be done which may prejudice the civil and religious rights of existing non-Jewish communities in Palestine, or the rights and political status enjoyed by Jews in any other country.[1]
The "Balfour Declaration" was later incorporated into the Sèvres peace treaty with Turkey and the Mandate for Palestine. The original document is kept at the British Library.

What an absurd ending to this incident.
Right when I thought that things would get much worse after the bus bombing, they decided to make peace?
So if we think of Israel's side;
a) They decided to make peace after bus bombing as a display of goodwill and show that they actually want peace and not motivated by revenge
b) They decided to make peace because they weren't expecting such a security breach in the middle of Tel Aviv. This would freak out civilians and have them question their government's actions and effect Likud's performance in the upcoming elections.
c) They decided to make peace because a third factor(usa, russia, iran) have told them to stop or threatened them.From the Hamas side of view;
a)They agreed on peace because a possible ground operation would just wipe hamas and half of palestine
b) They agreed on peace because Israel wanted peace
c) They agreed on peace because all the leadership team of Hamas has been killed and the ones next in line wanted to live a little more.Also what kind of an incentive did Hamas give Israel to reach peace?

^ I meant that we have more channels to communicate and inform each other compared to 10 years ago. We used to watch first gulf operation on CNN now we follow almost everything on twitter from people experiencing whatever is happening. That is more liberty in communication but like you said there's a counter action by governments because of tagging, tracing & surveillance.
