Hey,
I'm about to do a 45 min presentation on my new book in front of an audience and been thinking of using Prezi.
It's a image driven story (I'm a photographer) so I'm concerned it will be a little heavy to work in it.Anyone used it, Pros and cons?
Cheers

Don't do it!
It will leave your audience dizzy and confused.
Far better to design something clean and simple in InDesign and present from a PDF.
Both powerpoint and Keynote are just as bad as eachother really. Keynote handles movies better.
But really, just present your photography and try to talk and hold the audience with what you're saying. Don't just talk them through a presentation.Tell an intriguing story

Cool, thanks for the input, If the transitions doesn't captivate the audience enough I'll go to my last resort, releasing 10000 kittens inside the Apple Store.
That should at least make the talk rememberable.

just finished a huge prezi presentation a week or two ago...took ages to create...
it was for a tradeshow booth....playing on a screen while our sales reps would speak to clients....it was meant to attract attention, be visually appealing and informative, but not to be intently focused on for any length of time...
for that, it was the perfect tool....lots of movement, and if you structure the whole thing intelligently, it's quite impressive...has some nifty parallax qualities if you use pngs and transparencies etc....but for what you're building?...probably indesign-pdf...that'd be the way to ensure quality...

Yeah, I see what you guys mean, 45 min of this will be overwhelming.
Well if any of you guys are in NYC on Monday 13th, come by The Apple Store SoHo at 7PM.
