Not really that many new good chairs outside of the ones described in previous threads.
Herman Miller Aeron is a good bet. HM Embody even better (if u have the loot)
Steelcase's new gesture chair would be the one I'd buy.
http://www.steelcase.com/en/prod…I'd go the SteelCase route if I weren't to go Herman Miller. They have a bunch of other great chairs too, especially the Leap Chair.

You should check out the Gesture from Steelcase

Should be shipping early next year or late this year. I've been wanting to get the Steelcase Amia for home, but kind of holding out for the Gesture.

someone else recomended the bungee chair from the container store on one of the old threads:

I like it more than my "nice-expensive-wannabe-aeron-ch... that I have at work. I can sit on it all day. found one on craigslist for $80. they sell a model with arms/recline option but I like the simpler one.

Gesture chair is pretty nice, the arms aren't quite as fluid as I would like; they feel very stiff when adjusting. The Leap is still a great chair, and may have some deals once the gesture chair is officially out.
I had the chance to get a Leap a while back, but I really like the breathability of the Aeron.
If you move around a lot, or like your chairs to look like they belong in the distant future, check out the Capisco: http://izzyplus.com/hag/products…

In the UK we are quite unique in not having a law that covers counterfeit furniture, which is why we have a bunch of very good repro furniture places.
I have bought a load of stuff from here for both home an office
