Make an HTML button for an art show! http://buttons.smallparade.com/
Taking submissions for an interactive art show. The show is called "BUTTONS" and will involve all kinds of buttons we see throughout our days, not just HTML. I'm in charge of collecting submissions for the web / interactive portion, so I put a page together today to show an example of a ridiculous button and take submissions. I'll be updating the page over the next few days., but I wanted to put it up early for my fellow QBNers to see if I can get some early signups.
It will be moving soon, but I'll set up a redirect when it does. Lemme know if you have any questions, or need further details!
Some guidelines (these will be included in the email when it's finished):
1. Button should be confined to a space no larger than 1024w x 768h, regardless of button state. Anything exceeding this size will be automatically cropped.
2. You an use HTML, CSS, JavaScript, images, webfonts, and sound, but no Flash.
3. Must perform well in Webkit browsers and on mobile devices (account for touch states!). Final button collection will be displayed on iPads during the show and online after the show.
4. All code and relative assets should be stored as a Pen on CodePen.
5. A link to the Pen with final code should be sent to no later than Friday, April 4.

Love the "BUTTONS" animated rollover.

#2 both here and on your site: should "an" be "can"?
- autonoma0
Ack. Thanks, timeless! Fixed.

100 participants now, and a few buttons already submitted.

When will we be able to see the submissions?
- autonoma0
They'll likely go up on Sunday, April 13 — the day after the show. If you're in Austin you can go to the show on Saturday, April 12th.
