A client wants a new business card, but doesn't need any other stationery.
How much can you charge for this? I feel like no matter how long I work I can't charge that much.

$190,000 plus expenses.

If simple, like an hour or something of mucking, $150? keep in mind the delivery/communication with printer for a day or two, etc. if double-sided then $190k.

$10,000 too little?

Is it JUST a business card? Do they have an existing identity? Is it a simple layout with type, colors, and logo provided? How/where is it used -- for sales calls, simply handed out for follow-up contact info? We need more info.
- Also, will you handle contacting printers, getting estimates, selecting paper, etc.Josev

depends on size of the client; how much work you're showing/doing; and whether or not you like them.
$500-$750 is fair range considering comps and printer wrangling. Unless you're Sagmeister and Walsh, then you charge nothing but make it mandatory that there's a reality series about walking your client's dogs, AIGA fawns all over you, and they chizzle your combined Walshmeister face onto Mount Rushmore.
