...i have a few re-skinned, over-the-top, pointless flappy-level clones involving many flying cats and meow rarrrr sounds that i made for practice that friends have rarrrr'd in laughter over. i might release one or two just because.
as long as i am working toward developing proper ideas and bringing some decent design to the table, which will eventually see release as well, i say why the hell not?
it's the stupidest ones that involve the least amount of work that will probably go viral and pay off the mortgage anyway. or beer money even, god willing. (*crosses fingers)

I've bought a few games to learn from and possibly reskin/hack a bit for a laugh. Also Github has many to check out that can be used as the core starting point ro help save time 'n learn.
The key tho imo is outdoing it. So many Flappy Bird reskin clones look hilariously rushed and just bosh.
do something over the top with it imo. case in point, flying yeezus.
which is 100% genius.
