i had never seen this flick
- Had a mid-school teacher who would call us "punkinheads" when we acted up - she'd hit knuckles with a yardstick! We gave her the poster end of year. Cool flick!antimotion
- lol. yeah i enjoyed it!scarabin
- Fucking affirmative.garbage
- lajj3
- On the Netflix, and it was very well done.lajj
- Yeah, good film...antimotion

- want to see this but looks slow. thoughts?_niko
- It's a tough watch. Slightly hammy but it gets the point across quite well.monoboy
- I thought it portrayed the job centre staff poorly. Not entirely fair. But I think it's a film people should see. It could happen to any one of us.monoboy
- Aye, I used to work Civil Service (Scottish Courts) and the bullshit dropped from on high was immense - targets, targets, targets.face_melter
- The continual pressure from management to hit quotas whilst dealing with people at their lowest. Some of the cases broke my heart. No-one does it for fun.face_melter

- Loved this film ...
... except for Jeremy Renner. He just didn't have the gravitas.Continuity - ill give it a point for not portraying aliens as humanoidsdrgs

- one of my favorites in a long time, was worth it just for the cinematographyformed
- I don't get how anyone can't like this. My mother and 15 yo nephew LOVED it. And you look at the reviews to Passengers, Mad Max, etc..I just don't get peopleformed
- seriously. it's a wake up call to realise what "normal" people listen to and watch... garbage reality TV, bullshit pop music, washed down with sugar water.inteliboy
- Face hugger was killing it!!pango
- farmed, "I don't get how anyone can't like this. My mother and 15 yo nephew LOVED it." - this is your answer - something that casts such a wide net is...pr2
- ...by definition product of mass market machine and NOT a work of art.pr2
- really? you guys are arguing over this?pango
- pr2 - you miss the point. It was a very good movie that can be appreciated. Star Wars, etc., is mass marketed "stuff". "Art" is another topic altogether.formed
- please continue the what isn't art debate in this thread.pango
- People like different things for different reasons shocker. Park your high horse over there, next to the ivory tower that smells of incredulity.face_melter

My wife never saw 6th sense... I love introducing films to people who aren't aware of the endings or content - it was still quite a shock when the reveal hit.
And for all the shit M. Night gets, I still think he's a valid director for sure. Definitely likes to experiment which is something many studios don't even blink at now - all formula .
Ironically, he went that way too, but frankly speaking, I wonder if those "twist" endings were from studio pressure...
Anyhow, the film still holds up in my opinion...
- i'm a big fan of "the village"jaylarson
- ^ i liked that too, i think it all went downhill for Night from that point thoughmoldero
- I thought Unbreakable was decentmonospaced
- Unbreakable was cool, yeah - supposedly he wanted to do part 2, but not sure... His popularity is up and down - now good because of "Split." made some dough.antimotion
- Village was cool too - underrated...antimotion
- He is doing a sequel to Unbreakable. It involves Bruce Willis' char chasing James McAvoy's char from Split with Sam Jackson's Mr Glass pulling the strings.Akagiyama
- http://www.vulture.c…
http://i.imgur.com/9…Akagiyama - Unbreakable is really really solidnb
