any glaringly awful issues with this site? anything you'd change?
- ernexbcn0
The community section doesn't really add much value by just seeing at photos, one would expect at least a tooltip on hover explaining who's the person. Other than that I like it.

Hamburger navigation on desktop?
c'mon!
- Hamburger navigation that moves around, on desktop? c'mon!detritus
- I prefer it. It's not in the way, and it holds secondary info.monospaced
- So where's the primary info then?detritus
- in the home section, the main site?monospaced
- I'm not sure we're looking at the same website.detritus
- I've just checked, it took me 20 seconds and 5 clicks to get a 'wtf is this, then?'detritus
- ..and as far as I can see, there's no list of facilities or prices, etc, etc.detritus
- When I click the arrows, I get info about the company. I know you do too. We agree it's not ideal, but it's there.monospaced
- So you agree that the primary info is not only not primary, it's not immediate either? Are you, as often, arguing for the mere sake of it?detritus
- I'm quite happy to admit you're right, if only to shut you up. I mean, you're wrong, but I'm quite happy to ignore what's staring me in the face.detritus
- I'm not here to argue. I'm sorry it turned into one. We are mostly in agreement. The info is there but not ideally presented.monospaced
- Ive seen the hamburger nav on many desktop sites. Christ people are lazy motherfuckers these days. Click the button and shut up.CygnusZero4
- Look up, Cygnus - see that small white dot coursing through the stratosphere?
That's the point, flying right over your head.detritus - I thought the phrase "Christ people are lazy motherfuckers..." was going to be followed by "build a proper fucking desktop menu". Silly me!ORAZAL
- QBN has it lolernexbcn
- QBN's arcane.detritus
- I prefer the hamburger, and so do most designers, companies and organization with new website designs these days.utopian
- 'Most companies, etc'.
Really? For desktop?
Sources?detritus - ..cos as far as I'm aware the Hamburger still has adoption and useability issues on Mobile, never mind desktop? *shrug*detritus
- Sorry, npduggins, I do actually overall quite like the site - i just don't feel it communicates immediately what are, to me, salient details.detritus
- there's a trend of getting rid of the burger icon even on mobile nowernexbcn

Oh, I walked past this place recently.
So, what does it do?
- Took me X clicks to get a description.
Why is the 'Second Home provides beautiful private studio...' blurb not front and centre?detritus - I see shit like this and I don't think "OH, COOL!" I think "Rent's going to be expensive, then"
https://s3-eu-west-1…detritus - erm. 'insert link to floating table thing'detritus
- lol @ downvote.
it's true, sorry if you disagreedetritus - how much is the rent?Fax_Benson

Pretty beautiful, overall. I first checked it out on my phone, which presented a very nice scrolling site. On the desktop, though, the experience changed. I expected to be able to scroll, but am forced to click and wait through long fades in order to get the whole story. Maybe it's just me, but the waiting was a slight turnoff.
Also, the type on the desktop is very nice, but just a tad small. Yeah, I'm turning into an old man. I love small type as much as any designer, but maybe at tiny bit bigger?
Otherwise, the design, layout, concept, and color are gorgeous.
- wow i hope you're kidding when you say :
"the design, layout, concept, and color are gorgeous"i_was - I'm not kidding, I think it's very aesthetic, and pointed out areas where it wasn't very good.monospaced
- Maybe I was focusing mostly on the type choice, colors and SOME of the flow when I spoke of how good it looks.monospaced
- very aesthetic is not Englishfadein11
- how so? did you not understand what I meant? if I switch the two words it's more correct, does that help you?monospaced
- aesthetically pleasingmonospaced

Not bad. The type's a bit small and fades are too slow - takes an age to find anything out. Even if you make it through the slides, there's not a huge amount of information. The email sign-up form was broken for me in chrome.

Is it one of those places where huge self-esteems and ultra-high expectations get crushed by $500 budgets?
nice site tho!
- zenmasterfoo0
play that video in the canvas. a popup video player isn't necessary.
- set0
Perfect on mobile. Text is too small when viewing on my tablet though.
- yuekit1
The space looks really impressive. But I had to click through several slides to understand what it was all about. An About link in the nav might not be a bad idea.
Also I like how you did the video loops, but a couple of them seemed a little weird. Like pushing the plants together - what was the idea there?
Looks good overall though. Nice work.
- VectorMasked3
Yeah, what some said...
Didn't understand what the site was for. At first I thought it was for some exhibit or something.
And... how about if you use better use of the site's title?
It just says "Second Home". That means nothing if you are not familiar with what you are selling. How about " Second Home — Gives us your moneys and we'll give you a tiny desk you can use to freelance"

Websites for places like this are about usability: the point is to show prospective clients the space and its benefits.
1. simplify navigation - not everyone understands the 3 lines as "menu"
2. loose opening screen video - it doesn't do shit for you
3. SHOW the offices - this is number one reason why anyone would visit the website (number 1!!!!)
4. if available show price ranges - the office looks swank so many start ups will be put off thinking that the space is more expensive then they can afford
5. tell me (in text) why you are better then others
- i_was0
Change the menu font
- i_was0
To use WP for that is overkill, the site is slow and doesnt have lots of content, you better go with Bootstrap + a bootstrap template

i wonder how long it'll be before we start putting mobile navigation at the bottom instead of the top. it's fine for desktops because that's usually close to the archaic, back button in browsers, but on mobile, since phones are getting bigger—that's mostly fine, just make the important nav items close to mah thumb.
- google apps and mobile sites are already doing thisjaylarson

Googlemaps insite plAAease !!!
- Knuckleberry0
not sure if said yet, but why do the arrows change? Home vs. Gallery.
- Hayoth0
Don't make the type bigger.
On mobile it felt awkward with the down area so close to the oval circles.
I liked the desktop experience visually but didn't really get anything out of it. The nav menu names are odd. I want to see the questions I have answered in the navigation.
I think mobile provided a better direction in digesting the content.
¯\_(ツ)_/¯

1. needs SEO - your page titles suck
2. no one will click the left/right arrows on the home page. this is wasted
3. hamburger menu - is this audience appropriate?
4. missing relevant links in blog posts - you show the urls but dont link... whats the point in that? just to piss off users?
5. no calls to action.... anywhere? is conversion not an issue?if the sites about promoting events then it needs a quick view calendar
if the sites about promoting the space then i guess it needs more info on the space, availability, booking requirements etc
seems really misconceived and unhelpful imho
