I made a double album. 100% of the proceeds are going to an animal welfare organization in Kenya that rescues orphaned elephants, rhinos and giraffes whose parents are often victims of poaching.
It’s up for pre-order right now: https://palaxytracks.com/
Take a look, and please think about participating. All you have to do is order the album for $20. Then you’ll get updates for a year around the specific animals your money went toward rehabilitating.

@sarahfailin — Yes! I love that ANIMALS, too. This one’s different. Not as good, but helping *actual* animals.

How many of you that think you care about animal welfare, eat meat? Out of interest.

set,
I believe I care about animal welfare and I eat meat.
Biologically, we are omnivores, but we have reached a technological level where we could do without eating meat. I agree with the ethical view on not eating meat for the welfare of our fellow animals, we have the "enlightenment" and the technology to do so.
However, I don't believe in the human quest for bettering ourselves and the lives of others, therefore I eat meat just for the pleasure of it. I try to improve animal welfare in other ways. I have killed domesticated animals to eat them before.- I just remembered: I had a friend that bought a rabbit as a pet for her children. But the bastards wouldn't take good care of it.soundofreason
- I offered to help her put it out its misery. So we killed it while her kids were out one day. She put in the freezer and fed it to them a few weeks later.soundofreason
