This has certainly been a PSB for the record books. The time for submissions has ended. This thread will stay active for discussion. Finalists will be announced, you will vote, there will be winners. Stay tuned.

how to vote, mr. qbn.

I love detritus' one where he has a coat on and an ivisible dog it is so shit nuts it's brilliant, however it is clear from the picture that detritus has taken an expanse of drugs. Or perhaps only one drug but a really really strong one!!!.

i thought the battle ended at midnight, like at post 3 hunred somfin..
where did all these other rather great good ones get to be posted?
how are these accountable or are they not counted? seems the rules are slightly off...nothing to see here, carry on, QBN loves you...

So, wheres my new paperweight?

I think rules should be set for this... Why set an image for a PSB if people aren't going to use it, even the slightest bit? Were the submissions supposed to reflect the theme of 'Art is War' or is that just a catchy title? Should there be a limit on the number of submissions from one person? (Obviously this wouldn't matter in non-competition PSBs but since there are prizes involved...)

I agree with your first point, 5timmers - but, regarding the number of entries - it's quality over quantity - of the three people I'd vote for here - one did five-ish, another three-ish and the last one only did one. I'll only be voting on one entry from each (assuming my favourites are selected). Whilst myself and others put out a whole load of entries, speaking for myself, only 30% or so were any 'good' (imo, naturally).
I'm at once heartened and utterly gutted by the success of this PSB - when it was first announced I thought "Ooh, I might have a chance here". Then the entries came in and, particularly over the last half, the quality just went up and up and up - well beyond my capability. I'm blown away by some - inspired, more than anything, which can only ever be a good thing.
I hope 'art is war' was just a clever tagline, otherwise I've only got one half-relevant entry (ie. there was no art in it, just a little war!) :\
Thanks, QBN - I hope this effort is repeated some day.

I wasn't really for the image initially, but otherwise I completely agree with det.

Just want to say what a wonderfully hysterical job everyone did. I was too busy to participate and having kind of a crap day, and was therefore to grumpy to think of anything good.
But seeing everyone's submissions was really fun.
Good luck, all! And kudos to QBN for an activity and event that brought out the best in the PV community.

great stuff people. No hope of having the time to enter myself by by fuck I'd have had no chance anyway.
Shir Sean would have been Sherioushly impresshed no doubt by the shtupendous shtandard of entriesh

I thought the quality just went up and up. I've never participated in the PSB before, mainly because I don't have the time. But I was on holiday yesterday and just did one for fun and then a kind of manic feverish, gotta think of more, gotta do more, must win Macbook air, or Canon Rebel or ipod nano even though I don't need any of them, kind of fever took over. Having seem some of the gems I'm glad I participated because I've haven't laughed so much in ages. I said it before as well but I don't think a gif should win but the Power Rangers had me in hysterics for ages. Maybe QBN should just do a separate GIFB instead?
- Jaline0
I second the GIFB idea. It would be funnier than this one, I'm almost certain.
Jersey, you had some great entries.
- JOSF0
GIF one would be good.
i like so many of these submissions, i don't know who i want to win =S
- QBN0
This is not an easy decision. Fantastic entries. The finalists will be announced on Monday.
- digdre0
do you guys think i have any chance to win that nano?
