    ummm, whilke fate_redux is spot on in the endurance pointer...do not start shadowboxing with weights...I get all my training equip at ringside.com

    Find a good gym and start watching people....

    one of two things will happen...

    1.) An old guy will approach you and ask how much you weigh, he will tell you that you are a natural and if you would like he can train you...he will then ask you if you want to go a few rounds with his boy...don't do it....

    2.) You will be approached by everyone. They will take an interest in you and start giving you pointers. No one will ask you to spar for a good 2 to 3 weeks, when they do it will be sparring, very controlled, 'work'. Find a gym like this and you have a great place to train.

    NOTE: If you show up to a gym and they want you to spar right away you are about to get K.O'd
