I fell off my bike once.. I was riding on the sidewalk, ( I know, I know bad news ) and there was this biiiig old lady on a motorized cart, right in the middle of the sidewalk. I veered off onto the little grass part, and then, with road tires and all couldn't turn sharp enough to get back on to the sidewalk. The tires rubbed, and I lost my balance. I fell right in front of her, she just drove onto the other side of the sidewalk, and right past me.. bringing an end to this pointless story.
