it'll grow. like everything flash has grown. even flash itself.
do you remember the early days? when flash hit the market? everything moved and tweened (even shape tweened) etc.
people get over it. you still see it with rookies, they all make the same errors everyone has made. there will probably be an overkill of said effects but they won't be around that long. last time i saw a shape tween was ages ago.
