I think the kid is an arse.
In high school, there were always kids who hated how parents/teachers/adults 'didn't understand them', blah, blah, blah.
I boiled that down to their feeling of the fact that of those 3, none of them made an effort to treat them as equals in their minds or made no effort to bridge the gap.
Here was a teacher who did just that, sponsored good sound debate and connected with his students - and this d-bag finally has his cake and is eating it, and decides it tastes bad for everyone else.
I don't know if any of the above made sense, because it's alot of text and I refuse to read it over, so if you made it this far... I wish I had a cookie I could give you.
