depends where you go.
There are som lame ass tourist attractions about, 'The Big Banana' in queensland and the 'Big Pineapple" as well.
The 'Dog on the tucker box' was an iconic attraction I missed and wish I had seen on a drive I did from Sdney to Melbourne. took around 11 hours.
Elsewhere, I woud rate the 'great ocean road' drive which is south of Melbourne and takes yo past the 12 Apostles, etc.
If you time it right, you can check out the surf comp at bells.
But like I said its all about when and where you go in australia. Its too big for a single road trip.
Oh..and get out the first mad-max too, the original, not the dubbed version for the states...it will add something to any time spent in a car in Australia.
And as for "drunken croc wrestling'...there isn't that much about, its usually only the inbred myopic poms that are into that sort of shit.
