New iPods - love or hate?

They're on the news because Apple products are huge now, particularly the iPod. Most people's first purchase from Apple is the iPod.
I suspect the Nanos will look great in person, but it definitely looks shitty in the pictures. When they first came out I thought the pictures were fake, so it sucked to find out they were real. I guess it's good I have a second gen. Nano, but I was planning on purchasing a new Nano soon.
Anyway, the prices are good enough that I will always be able to buy one. Although the iPod Classic and iPod Touch are nice, they're out of my budget (especially since I have a nice, working Nano) and I have no need to carry all that music. Also, 8GB sucks for iPod Touch. The 160GB that comes with the iPod Classic is a huge difference, although it's obviously more for music than other apps (and the Touch has apps + music)
