    OK, but did you ever think that the things you can do there maybe don't appeal to others, therefore they think the city sucks.

    For me, there isn't much culture there, the 'mountains' in the area aren't worth moving for. The city is small, it kind of falls into this noman's land between two of Canada's best cities for culture, careers and entertainment.

    I will say it's close(ish) proximity to Montreal is cool, but personally I would just move to Montreal if I lived in Ottawa.

    Basically, different strokes for different folks... personally, I could care less if you said Vancouver sucked, and on some points I'd probably agree with you.
