But I don't understand why you'd ask? What your motivation would be? Surely there's some underlying scheme? Some unsaid resolution set to undo me? Oh God. It could be anything. I just wish you hadn't asked. I wish I never knew - never admitted! I should've stayed quiet. That would've been the safest - that way I could pretend that everything was OK.
But it's not. I said I knew and now you know.
