excellent restaurants in B'more. I highly recommend the Ambassador Dining Room if you like Indian. The place is totally hidden in the ground floor of an upscale apt. building in Charles Village. Getting there is like going through a maze. But then you walk in the door, and see these gorgeous Indian rugs, columns, elaborate wall hangings, and then there's the porch, where fireplaces burn year round. The porch opens up to a garden with a fountain in the middle. The whole thing is circled by hedges. It's so serene, you'd hardly know you're in the city. And the food is incredible, relatively cheap for fine dining. The best date spot I've ever been to in Baltimore, hands down.
